Those interested in electric vehicles primarily focus on three questions: Is the electric range sufficient for my needs? What about charging time and infrastructure? How is the service and maintenance of electric models?
To address all these questions, Opel has launched the 'Electric All In' formula, which includes services such as an ePro wallbox for fast home charging, Opel Connect Plus services, and eight years of mobile charging assistance, roadside assistance, and battery warranty.
"Opel is electric. We already offer at least one battery electric variant for each model. Furthermore, we make everyday electromobility even easier and more reliable with our worry-free package 'Electric All In'.
At Opel, customers not only purchase their electric vehicle but are also fully covered by numerous electric services. With this unique approach, we aim to further ease the transition to electromobility and drive the deployment of this important propulsion technology," said Opel CEO Florian Huettl.
For fast home charging, customers receive an ePro Wallbox with numerous smart solutions included when purchasing an Opel electric vehicle. Thanks to 4G connectivity, WLAN, and Bluetooth, the wallbox can be remotely controlled, and the charging status can be checked at any time.
Additionally, access can be defined for multiple users via RFID cards. And when the electric car needs recharging on longer trips, the included Charging Pass ensures hassle-free charging at public charging stations. This means the driver only has to cover the charging costs.
Regarding connectivity services, the program includes emergency calls and breakdown calls, as well as numerous Opel Connect Plus services.
From the e-Remote, which can be used to check the vehicle's charging status and battery level or schedule air conditioning via the myOpel app, to remote control functions like locking the doors or turning on the lights remotely, to live navigation with real-time information on charging stations, parking spaces, and much more.
Customers can also enjoy peace of mind regarding the longevity of their electric vehicle's battery. Opel offers an eight-year warranty on the vehicle's battery. And if the vehicle requires mobile charging or roadside assistance during this period, Opel will also provide on-site assistance.
'Electric All In' will initially launch in Germany, Spain, and Belgium, with other markets to follow.
