Elda City Council has released a new city map aimed at providing residents and visitors with a comprehensive and updated tool to explore and navigate the Alicante city. This new map, designed with a clearer and more functional visual approach, highlights the main points and places of interest, as well as the tourist routes launched by the Tourism department.
Among its contents, the map includes the names of all the streets and squares in the city, as well as parks and gardens, iconic buildings and monuments. Additionally, the map indicates the location of municipal and official services, museums, cultural spaces, accommodations, and establishments where footwear made in Elda, one of the city's great emblems, can be purchased.
It also features healthcare points, educational and sports facilities, emergency services, and natural sites of great value, such as the Pantano, Monte Bolón, or Monte Bateig. Another notable aspect is the indication of public parking, both free and paid, to facilitate mobility and access to different areas.
Physical and digital format
The new map will be available at the Tourism Info office, as well as in museums and municipal buildings. Additionally, it can be downloaded in digital format from the Elda Tourism website (https://turismo.elda.es/), allowing visitors to plan their visit in advance and conveniently access information from any device.
The Councillor for Tourism, Rosa Vidal, highlighted that "with this new map, we aim to provide visitors with a useful, modern, and attractive tool to help them navigate the city and discover all the tourist, cultural, and natural potential that Elda offers."
