The festive music unites the entire Valencian Community, which is why the Elda City Council and the Central Board of Moors and Christians Associations have organised a concert to support the musical societies affected by the DANA in Valencia.

The Castelar Theatre will host the festive music recital on May 10th, starting at 7:00 PM. Admission will be free, but there will be a 'fila cero' for those who wish to contribute in a charitable manner.

The Councillor for Festivities, David Guardiola, and the President of the Central Board of Moors and Christians Associations of Elda, Pedro Serrano, have unveiled the details of a concert that replaces the Festive Music Contest, cancelled this year due to the severe flooding experienced by numerous municipalities in the province of Valencia.

This concert features the collaboration of the Ruperto Chapí Musical Society of Villena and the Santa Cecilia Musical Cultural Group of Elda. The performance consists of two parts, first by the Villena band and then by the Elda band. Only pieces premiered in Elda and composed for the Festive Music Contest will be performed.

How to Attend and Contribute?

Those interested in making financial contributions to the musical societies affected by the DANA can do so via the bank account ES45 3159 0078 5630 4840 6023 or by making a Bizum to the code 10542. Those wishing to attend the concert can collect tickets at both the Elda Tourism Info and the headquarters of the Central Board of Moors and Christians Associations of Elda.
