Elche is vying for direct promotion in the remaining two matches, and its owner, Christian Bragarnik, has voiced his concerns against the refereeing body following the controversial defeat in Huesca (2-1). The Argentine businessman admitted to being "worried" about the officiating in the final stretch of the season, though he clarified that he has never questioned "their honesty."

Elche is upset about Germán Valera's double yellow card dismissal and the lack of sanctions for similar actions by several Huesca players. The official revealed that he has requested the technical committee to appoint "more experienced referees" for high-tension matches like those at the end of the league.

"The referee the other day was not up to the task and made some mistakes that we all make. But there were similar actions in the same match that were not treated the same way," he explained. "I only ask for referees with more experience for these matches, as is done in finals," reiterated the Argentine, who also requested that once the season ends, clubs work together with referees to improve the competition, especially in offside actions.

"This is not a complaint, but things to improve," commented the Elche leader, reminding referees that directors, coaches, and players also have their futures at stake. "The message is not one of criticism, but constructive so that the league continues to grow and we have the best refereeing," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Elche has organized a train trip to A Coruña for nearly five hundred fans to accompany the team on the weekend of May 31 and June 1 in the final match of the championship, which could be decisive for promotion to La Liga.

If they score this Sunday against Málaga, the Elche team, currently in third place, ensures they reach that final match with a chance to secure one of the top two spots, competing with Levante and Mirandés.

"The club will collaborate so that all fans can be there," stated Bragarnik, revealing that the club has already made arrangements with the Deportivo de La Coruña officials to obtain as many tickets as possible for Elche supporters. Despite not depending on themselves, the Elche club is confident in their chances of achieving direct promotion to La Liga.
