Elche strikes a blow against Málaga and consolidates its growth with Sarabia (0-3)

Elche has finally managed to string together two victories, something it had been seeking for many weeks. Eder Sarabia's team played a perfect match at La Rosaleda, where they dominated from start to finish.

The goal by Uruguayan Agustín Álvarez in the third minute paved the way for the ilicitanos, who then sealed the match convincingly with goals from Nico Fernández and another from Mourad, who continues his streak, from the penalty spot.

This victory reaffirms Eder Sarabia's playing model and allows the franjiverde to move closer to the important positions in the standings after some tough weeks in which the team was flirting with the relegation zone.

Elche climbs to ninth place in the table with 10 points, just two points away from the promotion playoff zone currently held by Mirandés.

The ilicitanos will play away again next week, specifically in Galicia against Racing de Ferrol. The match will be on Saturday at 2 PM.
