Elche Puts Two Plots and 20 Public Parking Spaces Up for Sale

Elche City Council, through the Department of Municipal Strategy, has initiated the process for the sale of municipally-owned plots and parking spaces. The auction includes two plots, the first located in Distribution Area No. 90 with an area of 570 square metres, and the second in the Carrús Industrial Estate with a surface area of 961 square metres.

Apart from these two plots, Councillor Francisco Soler has indicated that two development reserves will also be auctioned, allowing owners to transfer the buildability of the land. One of these covers 5,154 square metres, is located in sector E37, and must be purchased in its entirety by the future buyer. The second corresponds to Distribution Area No. 32 with a surface area of 1,644 square metres, which can be acquired in fractions.

The auction will also include around twenty parking spaces distributed throughout the municipal area. Specifically, nine on José Grau Niñoles Street, six on Balandro Street, two on Mutxol Street in Las Bayas, one on Elche Club de Fútbol Avenue at the corner with Antonio Cartagena Street, and two on Paseo de Atzavares 34.

According to Soler, "we expect to generate revenue of 1.5 million euros from the sale of these plots and 60,700 euros from the parking spaces. This amount exceeds what we estimated and aimed to adjust in the Financial Economic Plan we presented a few weeks ago." The deadline for submitting proposals for those interested in the properties is until July 14th.
