Elche Prepares Beaches for Easter Week

The beaches of Elche are being prepared for the upcoming Easter holidays. The adaptation works on the sandy areas began this Friday, with the installation of walkways at the main entrances and the leveling and activation of foot showers.

The conditioning tasks include the distribution of bins and the installation of eight chemical toilets distributed across the beaches of El Altet, Arenales del Sol, Carabassí, La Marina, and El Rebollo, with daily cleaning.

Additionally, during the Easter campaign, from April 12 to 21, a daily cleaning of all beaches will be conducted, and during these days, two kiosks will open at Arenales del Sol Sur beach; one of them with a sunbed and umbrella area; and another at Carabassí, also equipped with a sunbed and umbrella area.

The Councillor for Tourism, Irene Ruiz, highlighted the importance of "preparing our beaches for such a significant season for tourism that arrives in Elche these days. To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for our visitors and the people of Elche."

In this regard, the tourist information offices of La Marina and the Social Centre of Arenales del Sol will also open from Friday, April 11 to Monday, April 21, from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00, on Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00, and from 10:00 to 14:00 on public holidays.
