On Sunday, June 1st, the lifeguard and rescue service will commence on the beaches of Elche, including Arenales del Sol, El Altet, El Carabassí, La Marina, El Pinet, and El Rebollo.

The Councillor for Tourism, Irene Ruíz, stated that "seven lifeguard stations and a total of 31 personnel will be operational, aiming to ensure the safety of swimmers and tourists visiting our beaches during the summer season."

The lifeguard service includes a coordinator for all beaches, two boat operators, four emergency technicians, two ambulances, and two jet skis. Additionally, there will be two accessible areas located at Arenales del Sol Sur and La Marina.

The service hours will be from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM in June and September, extending by an hour in July and August until 8:00 PM.

Furthermore, walkways, foot showers, and bins will also be available on all beaches from Sunday, and the same beach cleaning operation as in previous years has been implemented.
