Elche CF Launches Blood Donation Campaign with Over 600 Participants

626 individuals attended the Martínez Valero stadium last Thursday to participate in the latest blood donation campaign organised by the Valencian Community Blood Transfusion Centre (CTCV) and Elche CF.

As a token of gratitude, Elche CF once again gifted each donor with two tickets. This time, for the match against Racing Club Ferrol, part of the 34th round of LaLiga Hypermotion, scheduled for Monday, April 7th in Elche, starting at 20:30.

Dr. Mabel Ortiz de Salazar, head of the CTCV Service, expressed her gratitude: "The collaboration of Elche CF and their support for blood donation is exemplary. Each donation is crucial to ensure patients receive timely transfusions."

Elche CF, through its president Joaquín Buitrago, reaffirms its commitment to blood donation: "We are proud to collaborate with CTCV and see how our fans respond to this call for solidarity. Each donor contributes to saving lives, and together we demonstrate that Elche CF and its fans are a united and supportive community."

Since its inception in 2003, the collaboration between CTCV and Elche CF has enabled 18,841 blood donors to participate, with 2,375 making their first donation in these campaigns. This initiative, held three times a year, has become a tradition of solidarity in the city, ensuring a steady blood supply to hospitals in the Valencian Community and saving lives daily.
