Elche

Elche is fueling the dream of promotion at Martínez Valero. The franjiverde team becomes formidable in front of their fans, on the verge of breaking records, and most importantly, solidifying their position in the promotion zone as the final stretch of the league approaches, which promises to be thrilling and not for the faint-hearted. The lackluster victory against Tenerife (2-0) reinforces the home trend of Eder Sarabia's team, which has also been significantly strengthened in the winter market with the arrivals of players expected to make a difference, such as Pejiño (UD Las Palmas), Jairo Izquierdo (Cartagena), Germán Valera (Valencia), and Marc Aguado (Zaragoza).
Elche has once again linked six consecutive home victories in the league championship for the first time since the 2012/13 season, when they were promoted to the First Division after being crowned champions of the category in an unforgettable campaign that all fans remember.
Sarabia's team has consecutively defeated Oviedo (4-0), Cádiz (2-1), Racing de Santander (3-0), Zaragoza (1-0), Eibar (2-0), and Tenerife (2-0) at home. The Ilicitano team has not known defeat at home since November, when Almería, led by Luis Suárez, conquered Martínez Valero.
Since that 2012/13 season, when Elche was promoted under coach Fran Escribá, the Ilicitano team, whether in the First, Second, or Second B divisions, had not linked more than five consecutive home victories.
On that occasion, Elche managed to defeat all the teams that played at their stadium in the first round and their eternal rival Hércules, the first visitor of the second, linking a total of 11 consecutive victories.
In two matchdays, Elche will host Cartagena, the bottom of the competition, against whom they will attempt to extend their excellent streak at Martínez Valero, where they are building the dream of promotion.
On another note, the franjiverde club has taken a further step in its digital strategy with the aim of continuing to grow the brand in different markets and for different audiences. Elche has joined Feeberse, a short-form video social network that is revolutionizing the world of social media, with a total specialization in the world of football.
