Elche, currently second in the Segunda División, is finalising plans to transport at least one train of fans to A Coruña for the upcoming Sunday match, where the team will vie for direct promotion to La Liga, avoiding the play-offs.

The club's officials will meet with Adif and Renfe representatives on Monday, as stated by the club's communications and external relations head, Monserrate Hernández, to finalise details and secure "at least one AVE" train for supporters.

The train is scheduled to depart on Sunday from Elche station, and the club is negotiating the possibility of arranging additional transport for the journey.

Elche has also assured that following discussions between the club's major shareholder, Christian Bragarnik, and Deportivo de La Coruña's management, there will be no ticket limitations for the crucial match at Riazor. "Every fan who wants to travel will have their chance," Hernández guaranteed.

Meanwhile, Elche forward Mourad expressed his desire to "make history" with the team and is confident of defeating Deportivo de La Coruña in the next round to secure direct promotion to La Liga.

The Spanish-Moroccan striker, who scored one of the two goals against Málaga last week, emphasised the importance of Elche's self-reliance in the final match and assured that the team will focus solely on their game, regardless of other results.

Mourad, who has netted eight goals this season, admitted he would love to score "the promotion goal" to bring joy to the fans and the city "and because it would be historic."

Regarding his role in the team, the forward, who started the season as a regular, has embraced his impact role. "The coach is in charge and understands things best. We try to perform our best when we play," Mourad stated.

The striker highlighted his personal relationship with Sory Kaba, a fellow forward who also scored and whose performance has been questioned by fans. "He and I know our worth and what we contribute to the team. We are calm because we know we will do well," reflected the attacker, who downplayed the fact that he was close to leaving the club on the last day of the summer transfer window. "We know the situations that can arise in a market. I'm happy and content to stay," he concluded.
