The province of Alicante boasts over 800 active pharmacies. Of these, around 150 are located in the capital. Alicante residents are fortunate to have one of the provinces with the highest number of pharmacies in all of Spain. Specifically, Alicante ranks fifth, only behind Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Seville.
