Ducati Opens New Dealership in Barcelona with Marc Márquez as Host

Marc Márquez today inaugurated a new Ducati Barcelona dealership in Sant Quirze del Vallès. The new space offers a 550 m2 showroom where customers can explore the extensive range of products from the Borgo Panigale and Scrambler brands, as well as Ducati Approved models and a workshop area. The new facilities join the global sales network of the Bologna-based manufacturer, which now boasts over 800 sales points in more than 90 countries.

The Ducati Lenovo Team rider and MotoGP World Championship leader arrived at the event on a Ducati Multistrada V4S, accompanied by Francesco Milicia, Ducati's Vice President of Global Sales and After Sales, and Carlos T. López Panisello, General Manager of Ducati Spain and Portugal, where a launch party was held for this new space of the Borgo Panigale motorcycle brand in the province of Barcelona.

Acting as the patron of this presentation, which was also attended by Alberto Teichman – General Manager of Audi Spain – and Lluís Soler – CEO of Quadis – Marc Márquez spoke with Carlos T. López Panisello about what joining the Italian brand has meant for him: from his leadership in MotoGP to the challenge launched with Ducati Spain that will see him raffle a Ducati Multistrada at the end of 2025 among his entire community.

Subsequently, the party gathered around 300 Ducatistas who enjoyed the charm and wit of the eight-time World Champion, who raffled various gifts to reward the attendees for their loyalty to the Borgo Panigale brand. "Being at an inauguration like today's is a pleasure, surrounded by so much red passion," declared the MotoGP rider. "Feeling the affection of so many Ducati fans gathered at this new dealership has been very nice and is yet another demonstration of the brand's strength and its great connection with MotoGP. Ducati is not just a motorcycle; it's a family, a way of living the competition. Since I arrived, I've felt that warmth and demand, and that motivates me to give 200% in every race."

At the event, Francesco Milicia highlighted that "Barcelona, a trend-setting city, is a key point for Ducati due to the passion felt for motorcycles, and a testament to this is the number of riders from this region, like Marc, who joins us today at this new dealership. What we see today is precisely what this brand values, a party where Ducatistas gather and celebrate this passion together, in a place we want to become a meeting point for all enthusiasts."

Carlos T.
