They sold drugs through a window in broad daylight in the northern area of Alicante. This was the modus operandi of a criminal network dismantled by the National Police. During the operation, officers arrested six men and one woman, of Moroccan and Spanish nationality, aged between 18 and 36, according to investigative sources. The judge has ordered the imprisonment of five of the detainees.

The investigation began after the detection of an organised group operating at a drug sales point in the Northern Zone of Alicante. Police officers set up surveillance and tracking devices to identify those responsible and confirm the illegal activity.

As the investigation progressed, it was confirmed that the main sales point operated continuously throughout the day, with a constant flow of people coming solely to purchase narcotics.

The group members sold drugs through a window that opened directly onto the street, allowing consumers to acquire substances without entering the premises, thus reducing the risk of detection, according to the same sources. In addition to the investigated sales point, two additional houses were identified, used as drug warehouses or 'nurseries' to supply the sales.

During the exploitation phase of the operation, three entries and searches were conducted, resulting in the seizure of 400 grams of cocaine, 10.5 kilograms of hashish, 800 grams of marijuana buds, three precision scales used for weighing drugs, and 13 high-end mobile phones.

The seven arrested individuals were part of the criminal network, with roles ranging from direct sales to the custody and storage of drugs. After police proceedings, they were brought before the Investigating Court on duty in Alicante, with five of the detainees being remanded in custody. The investigation remains open, and further arrests of individuals who may have been involved in the investigated activities are not ruled out.
