The Civil Guard has dismantled an active drug-selling point in Torrevieja. It was a house turned into a drug 'supermarket'. From there, the alleged operators sold narcotics 24 hours a day, using minors as decoys during transactions.
In total, four individuals have been arrested, two men and two women, for alleged crimes against public health and receiving stolen goods. They operated from a residential building in the town centre, according to investigative sources.
Thanks to public cooperation, in April, the Torrevieja Civil Guard became aware of possible drug-selling activities. Several reports alerted authorities to a constant flow of people, drug use in common areas, and the continued presence of minors with the alleged operators.
During the initial investigations, officers from the Torrevieja Main Post Investigation Area confirmed that the alleged operators frequently left the residence with minors, using them as decoys to quickly make deliveries near the building. These activities were reported to the Generalitat's social services.
The Civil Guard executed the operation when the suspects were about to complete a transaction. Upon arrest, they searched the residence, finding hashish and cocaine ready for packaging, cash, various legally obtained items, and a laptop stolen in Madrid.
The four detainees, two Spanish men and two women aged between 41 and 53, are charged with drug trafficking and receiving stolen goods. They have numerous similar prior offenses and were brought before the Torrevieja Instruction Court No. 1, which ordered their release with precautionary measures.
