Alicante's Hogueras Festival, known for its mascletàs and fireworks, will now feature drones. The Generalitat has added new events to the main June festivities.
The regional government has announced a light show for the Hogueras, which will illuminate the Alicante sky during the celebrations.

The drone show for the Hogueras will take place after the first day of offerings, on Saturday, June 21 at 11 PM. The devices will launch from Alicante's port.
The event, themed 'Wild Nature', will see drones forming various shapes in the Alicante sky during this unique Hogueras spectacle.
The Generalitat has also issued recommendations for enjoying the drone show. It can be viewed from docks 10 and 12, and from the Alicante port walkway.
Graphic Campaign for the Hogueras
The announcement of the drone show coincides with the unveiling of the Generalitat's graphic campaign for Alicante's Hogueras, highlighting fire and festive music.
The design was created by graphic artist Boke Bazán, through his creative studio Nociones Unidas. "He aimed to convey the joy, optimism, and celebratory atmosphere of these festivities."
The colour palette features reds and yellows, representing fire, alongside the sea's deep blue, all colours of Alicante. Green is also present, symbolising nature, spring, and its transition into summer.
