Driver Rescued in Benissa After Being Trapped in Overturned Car Following Accident

Firefighters have rescued a driver who was trapped inside her car after a serious traffic accident in Benissa. The woman was inside the vehicle, which had overturned.

According to the Alicante Provincial Fire Consortium (CPB), the incident occurred at 10:02 PM on Wednesday on the N-332 road, on the section from Calpe to Benissa near this last municipality.

The woman was trapped inside the car, which had overturned after the traffic accident. The driver was conscious and pinned, requiring firefighters' intervention to be extricated.

After being freed around 11 PM on Wednesday, the woman had to be attended to by medical services due to her injuries.

During the intervention, the CPB used a heavy rural pump (BUP) and a rescue van (FSV). Additionally, a corporal and four firefighters from the Benissa station participated.
