The Beach Volley Tour Comunitat Valenciana 2025 kicked off last weekend at San Juan Beach with around 300 athletes in attendance. The Alicante sands hosted beach volleyball players of all levels, with the under-19 regional competition taking place on Saturday and the pro competition, which counts towards the national ranking and offers cash prizes, on Sunday.

Sunday's events were the highlight of the weekend, both concluding with victories for foreign pairs. In the women's competition, Hungarian duo Eszter Nagy and Hanna Gubik displayed a very high level of play and were crowned champions without dropping a set. In the grand final (2-0), they defeated Sousa-Cherkez, one of the tournament's surprise pairs in Alicante, while the bronze went to Svidirova-Svidirova, who promise to be a force this summer.

The men's event also stood out for the high international calibre of the teams, with the final victory going to the pair of American Isaac Levinson and Ukrainian Slava Karvatskyi. They defeated local favourites Moreno-Sanfélix in the grand final, who were eliminated from the Madrid Futures just the previous Friday afternoon. Moreno-Sanfélix, fatigued, couldn't secure another gold at home and struggled to break down the solid play of Karvatskyi-Levinson. Meanwhile, the bronze was claimed by Tovar-Nijkamp, who delivered some spectacular points.

The Beach Volley Tour Comunitat Valenciana 2025 began last weekend in Alicante and will visit the following beaches this summer: Canet d'en Berenguer (24th and 25th May), Oropesa del Mar (21st and 22nd June), La Malvarrosa (5th and 6th July), Castellón (2nd and 3rd August), and Finestrat (15th, 16th, and 17th August).

In addition to the pro events on Sundays, the Valencian Community Volleyball Federation, organiser of the circuit, also schedules amateur competitions at each venue so that all beach volleyball enthusiasts, regardless of their level, can enjoy the sport.
