Dituro wished for "few movements" in the squad due to the "human quality of the locker room" and considered it normal for other clubs to show interest in Elche players given the team's good dynamics. "Hopefully no one leaves and if someone comes, it will be to strengthen the team," added the Argentinian, who admitted that personally, he likes to see Elche at the top of the table.

"I give importance beyond the fact that there is still a long way to go," said Dituro, adding that the important thing is to be in the positions where promotion will be decided at the end. The goalkeeper credited his players' pressure for being the least scored against in the category and described Eibar, their next opponent, as a "very tough" team. "Playing at home gives us an edge," indicated the Argentinian goalkeeper, who added that Eibar "competes very well and can be dangerous with space."

Dituro accepted the rotation in goal with Miguel San Román naturally and revealed that he likes to "watch and analyse" goalkeepers from the First and Second Divisions.

Meanwhile, the Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has opened an extraordinary file against Sporting de Gijón for the racist insults directed at Elche player Bambo Diaby during the last matchday at El Molinón.

The match referee, Cid Camacho, noted in the public section that "player number 4, Mr. Bambo Diaby Diaby, addressed the stands behind his bench, complaining of having received a racist gesture from a fan that the referee team could not appreciate."

Sporting de Gijón has already identified and begun proceedings to expel the fan, issuing a statement condemning "any form of behaviour that involves racism, xenophobia, or violence in football."
