Distribution of 16,690 Applications for Non-Exam Access to Employment Pools in Community Social Centres

The call for twelve employment pools to urgently fill positions in the community social centres has received a total of 16,690 applications.

The shortage of staff in the substitution pools of these centres managed by the First Vice Presidency and the Ministry of Social Services, Equality and Housing has led the Generalitat to call for a new process with high demand.

Thus, these twelve employment pools will allow for the staffing needs in directly managed social centres integrated into the Valencian Social Services System.

According to the Ministry itself, these centres urgently require staff to cover care for the elderly, those with special needs, or dependents.

In this regard, the regional secretary of the Socio-Health System, Elena Albalat, has highlighted that this measure constitutes a milestone in the Valencian Community, as for the first time an exception to the exam requirement for these pools, established by the previous government in 2021, has been achieved.

In response to urgent and unforeseen needs to temporarily or substitute fill these positions, and based on Article 198 of Law 5/2025 and Article 18.6 of the Valencian Public Function Law 4/2021, Social Services has activated these pools opting for the emergency procedure.

They will be constituted through the corresponding merit competition, assessment, and previous professional experience in the demanded tasks.

The Generalitat has offered various positions for the following roles:

Most of the provisional lists, following the relevant assessment process of candidates for each job position, were published last week, thus opening the corresponding period for objections until the definitive lists of personnel occupying the positions required by the Ministry are obtained.

It is noteworthy that each of the pools has a maximum validity of four years to occupy the job or until a new ordinary pool for these jobs is constituted.
