Discounts on Alicante's Commuter and Medium-Distance Train Passes from July 1st

Renfe has announced a new discount programme for commuter and medium-distance train passes starting July 1st, coinciding with the expiration of the free recurring passes. These multi-trip tickets will be available for purchase next week, on June 23rd.

Passes will be free for children born between 2011 and 2025, while young people born from 1999 to 2010 will benefit from special prices of 10 euros per pass. Meanwhile, medium-distance tickets will offer discounts of up to 70% for young people.

Although the 50% discounted Avant passes and free commuter passes for Asturias and Cantabria will remain valid until the end of the year, from July 1st to December 31st, regular travellers will have access to new commuter, Rodalies, and medium-distance passes with the following prices and conditions:

Monthly: 20 euros. Valid for all zones and all Núcleos. It can be purchased up to 15 days before its validity period begins (the start date is selected during the purchase process).

Monthly Youth (born between January 1st, 1999, and December 31st, 2010): 10 euros. Valid for all zones and all Núcleos. It can be purchased up to 15 days before its validity period begins (the start date is selected during the purchase process).

10-Trip Pass: price according to zone and Núcleo, valid for one year from purchase.

Child (born between January 1st, 2011, and December 31st, 2025): free. Valid for all zones and all Núcleos.

Monthly: 40% discount on the express monthly pass, valid for all medium-distance trains for the origin-destination for which it was purchased. It can be purchased up to 15 days before its validity period begins (the start date is selected during the purchase process).

Monthly Youth (born between January 1st, 1999, and December 31st, 2010): 70% discount on the express monthly pass, valid for all medium-distance trains for the origin-destination for which it was purchased. It can be purchased up to 15 days before its validity period begins (the start date is selected during the purchase process).

10-Trip Pass: 40% discount. Non-nominative, multi-personal. Valid for one year from purchase.

Child (born between January 1st, 1999, and December 31st, 2010): free. Valid until December 31st for all medium-distance trains for the origin-destination for which it was requested.
