Diputació-Renfe Ignites the Soul with the Scents of Life

Diputació-Renfe's bonfire is set to awaken the senses. Its artist, Diputació-Renfe, is preparing to ignite a sensory journey. David Sánchez Llongo is working on 'Aromas', a sensory and satirical journey that will be showcased this June on Avenida de la Estación.

This new proposal by Llongo, his third in the Special category, transforms into a tribute to memories triggered by scent. From the first breath to the last sigh, life is built on moments tied to fragrances.

This is the foundation of a bonfire that will essentially be an emotional journey through the senses. Each ninot will represent a scent, from the sweet smell of motherhood to the freshness of living nature.

In the scenes of 'Aromas' at Diputació-Renfe, there will also be room for less pleasant smells, such as decay or disillusionment, clearly symbolising the bittersweet experiences that are also part of existence.

The entire bonfire will combine traditional scenes, mythological nods and contemporary elements, all imbued with satire. Irony and social critique will spread like another essence in the air, inviting reflection without forgoing humour.
