Alibuilding, part of the Aligrupo holding, has acquired a new plot in the town of Sant Joan d'Alacant, allowing it to expand its land bank for future construction and increase the number of planned homes by 37% in the medium term. This new plot, located in the upper part of the Rambla towards Mutxamel, covers an area of 2,865 square metres.
It offers a buildable area of over 14,400 square metres across six storeys above ground, as permitted by municipal planning. Therefore, the plan is to establish 160 homes on this plot.

This operation "strengthens the land portfolio that the company has underway in the province of Alicante," according to a statement from Alibuilding, allowing it to plan for the medium-term launch of nearly 600 homes. The acquisition of the plot is part of the company's strategy to invest in urban land that allows for the adaptation of new spaces within cities.
For Alibuilding, the acquisition of the plot in Sant Joan completes its commitment to the L' Alacantí region and the metropolitan area of the city of Alicante. It already has land and specific projects in towns such as El Campello and Mutxamel. Alibuilding strengthens its commitment to housing development on the Costa Blanca with projects in La Nucía, Jávea, Polop, Finestrat, and Mutxamel.
The General Director of Alibuilding, José Antonio Izquierdo, stated that "this new land allocation strengthens us in one of the most dynamic areas of the metropolitan space of Alicante, consolidating our commitment to the Costa Blanca and generating housing development in a city that is very much ours, where we are and where we want to be a part."
