Tribute to the "strength" of the festival-goers and those affected by the storm

The photographer of the Federation of Moors and Christians of Dénia, José Iglesias, has been responsible for designing the graphic image of the 'Mig Any' 2025. The poster carries a message of solidarity through the selected colours, black and white. This fusion reflects "austerity and solemnity", connecting with the memory of the floods that affected the municipalities of Valencia during the storm. With this "minimalist approach", it invites reflection and honours their memory. Additionally, the 'Mig Any' poster also pays tribute to the strength of the festival-goers of Dénia. At its centre are the symbols of the cross and the crescent, "universal to our festival", alongside letters surrounded by a halo of light that "descends from above". This element represents "hope, unity, and commitment" to the future of the festival, "full of joy and celebrations despite adversities". With this design, the photographer sends a message: "May this 'Mig Any' be the best start for a celebration of hope, strength, and coexistence."

The events will continue on Friday, 14th February, marking the start of the grand weekend of the 'Mig Any'. On this day, a mass will be held in honour of the deceased festival-goers at 7:30 p.m. in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption. Following this, the 'nit de les filaes' will commence.

The culmination of the 'Mig Any' of the Moors and Christians in Dénia will arrive on Saturday, 15th February, with the official parade at 12 p.m. The planned route will begin on Vía Street and proceed through Diana and Marqués de Campo, ending at the Red Cross.

The end-of-festival retreat will be held on the same Saturday at 7 p.m. Mixed squads will be able to participate in the parade.
