À Punt airs a new episode of its true crime series 'The Dark Hour' this Tuesday at 10:45 PM. This week, the programme presents the first part of the investigation into the disappearance of the O'Malley couple, two British investors on the Costa Blanca.

In the summer of 2002, the allure of sun, sea, and competitively priced real estate attracted British investors, such as Anthony and Linda O'Malley, who travelled from Wales to Benidorm to purchase a home there.

Everything seemed like a normal trip until alarm bells rang when the family became concerned after realising they had not taken their return flight, and their phones were switched off, making contact impossible. The couple had a good financial standing and a peaceful life. No one can explain what might have happened to them. Why have they not shown any signs of life?

The fact that they did not return the rental car, the lack of trace of their luggage, their absence from the meeting with the real estate agent, and the strange bank transactions made by Anthony days before disappearing are the main clues focusing the attention of the British and national police investigation.
