Cyclist, 61, Injured After Collision with Car in Altea

A 61-year-old man was injured with multiple injuries on Tuesday in Altea after being involved in a traffic accident. According to the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU), the injured man was riding a bicycle and had an incident with a car, although the nature of the accident is unknown.

After receiving the alert around 4:15 p.m., the CICU dispatched an Advanced Life Support (SAMU) ambulance and a Basic Life Support (SVB) ambulance to the scene. The medical personnel attended to and stabilized the injured man before transporting him to Marina Baixa Hospital.
