Cybersecurity and Surveillance: Key to the Security of Alicante's Industrial Estates

The National Police and the Civil Guard have met with the managing entities of major business areas in the province, Fepeval, and Associated Security Companies (ESA-CV) to enhance collaboration and improve public-private coordination in these essential economic spaces.

The meeting brought together representatives from major business areas in the province, including the industrial estates of Las Atalayas, Pla de la Vallonga, Agua Amarga, Ocaña Avanza, and Mercalicante in Alicante. Also present were companies from the Industrial Park in Elche, Finca Lacy in Elda, El Rubial in Villena, and Les Galgues in Pedreguer, El Pastoret in Monóvar, and La Granadina in San Isidro, among others.

One of the most notable aspects was the push to establish communication channels and information exchange between the State Security Forces, private security personnel, and users. There has been an increase in joint operational actions between public and private security, reflecting the success of this synergy.

Additionally, various police operations were discussed, and the issue of cybercrime was addressed, with experts from both bodies highlighting essential aspects to prevent and minimize the risks of cyberattacks. The importance of reporting any potential cases was emphasized.

During the session, the positive and progressive implementation of Management and Modernization Entities in the Valencian Community was highlighted, underscoring the significant role of municipalities in their integration and collaboration. This initiative promotes the professionalization of those responsible for Industrial Areas and the direct participation of local corporations in their management.

Furthermore, emphasis was placed on the need to raise awareness among companies to consider security as a priority element in their organizational activities, highlighting the important and necessary functions performed by private security personnel at a reactive, deterrent, and assistance level.
