Cambiations in the municipal government of Crevillent. The town's mayor, Lourdes Aznar Miralles, announced this Thursday that she will proceed with the restructuring of the local executive to "boost government action during the second half of the term."

Thus, Councillor Francisco Verdú Ros adds to his management the Departments of Police, Security, Traffic, Emergencies, Civil Protection, while Councillor Gema Escolano Berná will assume new responsibilities by taking charge of the Departments of Local Development Agency, Employment, Fundraising, and Commerce.

Part of the changes are motivated by the resignation of responsibilities by the Councillor of Police, Security, Civil Protection, and Traffic, Gema Escolano Berná, as recalled by the mayor herself.

The first councillor commented that "these were changes we had been considering in recent weeks and are part of the normality in any government when governing for a period." Lourdes Aznar took the opportunity to send a message of calm because "we will continue to work rigorously and always for the benefit of the residents of Crevillent."

Another novelty is the creation of the Spokesperson for the Municipal Government, which falls to Councillor Pedro García Magro. Completing the changes in the local executive, Councillor Silvia Asencio Mas adds the Department of Heritage to her responsibilities.
