On the night of the cremà, the most magical night of Alicante's Bonfires, the festivities concluded past midnight on June 24, marking the renewal towards a new festive cycle. The fire consumed the bonfires that had turned the city into a museum for days.
The first to burn were Alicante's official bonfires: 'H2O' by Sergio Gómez and 'Identity' by Pedro Espadero. However, moments before lighting the fuse of the firecrackers, the monumental palm tree announced the start of the night of the cremà, delighting locals and visitors alike.

The pyrotechnics company Hermanos Ferrández from Beniel was responsible for firing the palm tree from the top of the castle. The spectacle featured 1,150 Imperial rockets in pearl white, which weep from their opening to descent, creating this well-known shape.
Thus, this 300-meter diameter palm tree gave the flash that marks the beginning of the night of the cremà, illuminating Alicante's sky and unleashing the roar, excitement, and countdown in each district.

After the palm tree, the Town Hall square became a scene of fire. The children's bellea del foc, Valentina Tárraga, was responsible for lighting the fuse of the official children's bonfire, which was engulfed in flames under the watchful eyes of hundreds of attendees.
Soon after, the central moment of the night arrived, the cremà of the official adult bonfire. 'Identity' burned before the expectant silence of the audience and the visible emotion on the faces of the festival-goers. The bellea del foc, Adriana Vico, lit the fuse, and with it, the spectacle began.
The lighting of the official bonfire was a ritual. The beginning was marked on the top of 'Identity', turning its heart into fuel for the flames with various artefacts. Then, the central body of the bonfire began to burn until the official bonfire turned into a great blaze.
Gradually, the flames spread to every corner of the official bonfire of Alicante, from the wood to the ninots forming the tips, including the lower parts of the bonfire. Thus, from top to bottom, the cremà of 'Identity' was a milestone, also dedicated to Pedro Luis Sirvent, whose children were responsible for the spectacle.
