Construction of New Health Centre in Pedreguer to Begin in Coming Months

New health centre for the town of Pedreguer. The Health Department has awarded the construction works of this infrastructure, which is part of the Dénia health department, for an amount close to 3.5 million euros.

The start of construction is planned for the coming months and involves building a new facility with a constructed area of over 1,400 m2, located on land provided by the Pedreguer Town Council, adjacent to l'Institut Street and Joana Escorna Street in the town.

The building's layout has been planned over two floors to accommodate various healthcare services. Additionally, it will feature an interior courtyard to provide natural light to waiting rooms and passage areas.

The aim of the Health Department with this new centre is to "respond to and meet the healthcare demand of the town's population, which will result in an improvement in healthcare services."

Regarding the range of services, the health centre will be equipped with Family Medicine, Paediatrics, Nursing, Maternal Area, Continuous Care Point, Extraction and Treatment Area, Administrative Area, as well as Social Work.
