Conference on Changes in Immigration Law in Xàbia

The Xàbia City Council, through its Department of Social Services and in collaboration with the local branch of the Red Cross, is organising an informative conference on the changes in the Immigration Law. The event will take place next Wednesday, March 12, at 7 PM, in the Multipurpose Room of Portal del Clot.

The conference will be led by Raül Bover, a volunteer lawyer for the Red Cross, who will detail the legislative changes coming into effect from May 20, 2025. During the session, new modalities and procedures for applying for legal residency in Spain will be discussed, as well as transitional measures and deadlines to be considered.

Additionally, specific information will be provided on special cases where it might be advisable to expedite procedures or take preventive measures. At the end of the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on their particular situations.
