Concerts and Events to Boost Commerce in San Blas and San Gabriel

The Alicante City Council has organised two new commercial revitalisation events in the neighbourhoods of San Gabriel and San Blas to enhance visibility and support the commercial sector during the spring celebration. The new leisure and shopping event in local businesses is scheduled for this coming Saturday, 22nd March, in the renovated San Blas Square, and on Saturday, 29th March, on Calle la Era in the San Gabriel neighbourhood, both in the morning from 10:30 am to 2 pm.

The two free events will be held with the collaboration of commercial associations once again in the neighbourhoods, transforming them with a proposal that becomes a new incentive for commerce and will boost shopping by promoting local businesses.

The events will also feature two concerts, one by the local Alicante group 'The Ugly Faces', this trio will perform from 1 pm to 2 pm, playing rock, pop, and soul classics in San Blas to entertain with a show that will captivate music lovers. Another musical performance by the duo Billy Mandanga, featuring Iván Serrano and his partner Kevin Mendes, will take place in San Gabriel, offering an exceptional live quality and a great concert.

The new San Blas Square will be the epicentre of the first scheduled activity this coming Saturday, from 10:30 am to 2 pm, with a programme that will include spring-themed workshops, virtual reality, a photo booth, concerts, music, and free activities for children. The animation and this new commercial revitalisation campaign commemorate the start of spring to enhance leisure and shopping in public spaces as an attraction for small local businesses.

The events will conclude with a live show by the group 'The Ugly Faces', transporting the audience through the great hits of rock, pop, and soul.

The second initiative will take place in the San Gabriel neighbourhood, on Saturday, 29th March, precisely on Calle la Era, where from 10:30 am in the morning, shows, workshops, and activities will be organised as an attraction to visit this area of the city. Additionally, there will be a live music concert by the duo 'Billy Mandanga', featuring Iván Serrano and his partner Kevin Mendes.
