The competition to vote for the best burger in Spain returns to Alicante and changes location

Alicante will once again host the competition to choose the best burger in Spain. The new edition of 'The Champions Burgers' returns to the city this April with a change of location among other novelties.

The gastronomic event will take place from April 10 to 21 at San Juan Beach. After years of setting up the 'food trucks' at the Muelle 12 of the Port of Alicante, the food trucks will travel a few more kilometres to set up at the Cirque du Soleil site on Costa Blanca Avenue.

This new edition of 'The Champions Burgers' also features local presence, with six restaurants and burger joints from the province competing to serve the best dish in Spain from their 'food truck'.

The Alicante burger joints include Circo, Umbrella, Moa, Torriko, Vicbros, and Soul. All of them have prepared an innovative and groundbreaking recipe to captivate attendees, who will vote for the best in Spain.

To do so, they must scan the QR codes on their tickets and evaluate aspects such as the bread, the meat, the combination of ingredients, originality, and the presentation of the burger.

Participants will also enter a draw to win a car, a Ford Mustang. The new edition of 'The Champions Burgers' returns to Alicante inspired by Route 66, with a strong neon touch.

Among the proposed activities, the event will open a children's play area for the little ones, a PlayStation area to virtually travel Route 66, and a neon-style makeup area.

All of this, served with the burgers aspiring to be the best in Spain, along with various starters and sides, can be enjoyed this April at the Cirque du Soleil site on San Juan Beach in Alicante.
