A commercial plane from Azerbaijan Airlines with approximately 74 people on board crashes in Kazakhstan

A commercial aircraft belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines, en route from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, to Grozny, the capital of the Russian Caucasian republic of Chechnya, with 74 people on board, crashed on Wednesday in Kazakhstan, local authorities announced. Other sources report around a hundred passengers and indicate there are survivors.
The plane crashed near the city of Aktau, in western Kazakhstan, according to the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations on Telegram.
