Collision Between Bicycle and Truck in Pilar de la Horadada

Emergency services attended to a 20-year-old cyclist on Tuesday afternoon who was injured in a collision with a truck near the municipal boundary of Pilar de la Horadada.

At around 14:35, the Emergency Information and Coordination Centre (CICU) received the call about the accident that injured the 20-year-old cyclist on the CV-930.

A SVB unit and the province-based medical helicopter were dispatched to the scene, according to CICU.

Medical services treated the cyclist for multiple injuries. Subsequently, he was airlifted by SAMU to Doctor Balmis Hospital in Alicante.
