The Government delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, closed this Friday the II National Meeting of Young Entrepreneurs held in Denia, organized by the National Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs together with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs and Businesswomen of the Valencian Community.
In this event, Bernabé highlighted that "the Government of Spain has been, is, and will be with its entrepreneurs and young businessmen and businesswomen" because "they are not only the future but also the present" for wealth and employment generation.
Spain, said the delegate, "is going through a good time. Fortunately, the apocalyptic forecasts of some parties have not come true. Quite the opposite." According to the OECD, Bernabé recalled, "the Spanish economy is growing like no other at a rate of 2.8% and has reached a record number of people working, surpassing those 21.2 million employees."
Administrations "must be allies of companies." Therefore, the Government of Spain "has launched mechanisms to promote the creation of companies, especially those related to innovative high value-added sectors." This is the case of the so-called Start-ups Law, which seeks to support innovative digital-based start-up companies or the ONE initiative: "the one-stop-shop" that facilitates interaction and progress in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In addition, the Next Funds have so far meant an injection of more than €6.4 billion with an impact on 71,254 beneficiaries, of which 51,302 are companies. This is also added to, according to the delegate, credit for companies through the CDTI Innovation call with 16 projects from Valencian companies benefiting to the tune of €7.1 million.
The Government, she concluded, "will continue advancing on the path of social dialogue to meet the demands of the business sector to adapt to a changing and complex world and remain competitive."
