Civil Guard Saves Woman from Bleeding to Death After Stabbing by Husband in Cañada

The swift action of Civil Guard officers was crucial in saving the life of a woman who was allegedly stabbed by her partner in Cañada last Saturday, May 24, according to sources close to the case. The alleged attacker, aged 46, who shared a daughter with the victim, was arrested the following day and placed in preventive custody.

Officers from the Armed Institute prevented the victim from bleeding to death by containing the hemorrhage after she suffered multiple stab wounds. Upon arrival, medical services stabilized the woman and transported her to Elda Hospital, where she was admitted in a "serious but stable" condition, according to hospital sources. Fortunately, the woman is now out of danger.
