The Civil Guard investigates the death of a young Irish woman in Albatera

A 24-year-old woman of Irish nationality was found dead inside a residence in Albatera on the morning of Saturday, 31st May, as reported by TodoAlicante. The Civil Guard has launched an investigation to determine the cause of death, with natural causes being the main hypothesis.

According to sources close to the case, the young woman's partner stumbled upon the tragic scene in a residence in the Vega Baja municipality and immediately alerted 112 about the grim discovery. Upon arrival, the officers and medical services could do nothing for the young woman, whose body was already without vital signs.

The Irish Embassy in Spain has been informed of the incident, and it is expected that in the coming hours, if the deceased's family decides, they will assist in repatriating the body to her home country and supporting the family members.
