The Civil Guard caught 44 drivers without a license in February in Alicante

The Traffic Division of the Civil Guard in Alicante caught 44 drivers without a license in February, and another 34 driving under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, actions were taken against seven individuals for reckless driving, three for speeding, two for leaving the scene of an accident, and two for driving under the influence of drugs. In total, 69 drivers have been brought to court for road safety offences in February 2025, according to a statement from the Armed Institute.

In terms of road safety actions carried out by the Civil Guard in the region, a total of 242 drivers were intercepted: 103 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 106 for driving without a license (58 due to total loss of points, 10 temporarily revoked by court decision, three permanently revoked by court decision, and 35 for never having obtained a license); 15 for reckless driving, 13 for driving under the influence of drugs, three for speeding, and two for leaving the scene of an accident.

By province, in Valencia, the Civil Guard intercepted 52 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 39 drivers for lacking a license, six for reckless driving, and nine for driving under the influence of drugs.

Meanwhile, in Castellón, the Traffic Division of the Armed Institute caught a total of 44 drivers: 23 for driving without a license, 17 for driving under the influence of alcohol, two for reckless driving, and two for driving under the influence of drugs.
