Citroën revolutionises its design and electrifies the entire range with the new C5 Aircross

The second generation of the C5 Aircross is now here, although it will not be available in major European markets until the second half of 2025. The most intriguing aspect is its new design.

In line with the design language already adopted in the C3 and C4, the sloping front includes the new logo at the centre and a new light signature with headlights connected by a discreet glossy black strip. At the rear, it features what are called "Luminous Wings", resulting in a three-point light signature, unique in the market, resembling two floating fins.

Inside the "C-Zen Lounge", designed to mimic a living room, a clear, long, and horizontal dashboard stands out, conceived as a piece of living room furniture. Its lower part is covered with high-quality foam fabric extending to the door panels and seats.

The latter, the Citroën Advanced Comfort seats, are a key element of onboard comfort. Their padding invites you to sit and travel. Not to mention the space and height offered by the rear seats, which can recline between 21 and 33 degrees to enhance long journeys. It also offers one of the largest boots in its segment: starting from 651 litres.

Its central HD touchscreen, the largest ever offered by Stellantis, or an expanded Head-Up Display, also draws attention.

Regarding the engine range, Citroën offers a wide variety, all electrified: a 145 HP mild hybrid, the gateway to electrification; a 195 HP plug-in hybrid, or 100% electric, with two motor options of 210 and 230 HP.

The plug-in hybrid's range will exceed 100 kilometres if driven entirely in the city; and in the case of the purely electric version, it will record up to 680 kilometres.
