Alicante's TRAM has announced changes for Easter Week. According to a statement, the public company will extend the tram schedules from Wednesday, April 16, to Friday, April 18, for Lines 2 (Luceros-Sant Vicent del Raspeig), L-3 (Luceros-El Campello), and L-4 (Luceros-Plaza La Coruña) to enhance citizens' mobility during the Holy Week.

Additionally, the last trains of Line 1 (Luceros-Benidorm) departing from Hospital la Vila (with a bus connection to Benidorm due to improvement works on that section) will not end their journey at Poble Espanyol, as usual, but will extend their route to Luceros, as during the rest of the day, with optional stops at all stations except Sangueta.

The aim is to provide users with fast and convenient public transport to access Alicante's capital and attend the processions held in the city centre until the early hours, without needing to use private vehicles. In total, Alicante's TRAM will enable 57 special trams over the three days, in addition to the mentioned extension of three Line 1 convoys.

On April 16, 17, and 18, besides the regular service trams provided by FGV, 13 additional circulations of Line 2 will be available from Luceros to Sant Vicent del Raspeig from 22:39 to 02:24, and another 13 in the reverse direction from 23:09 to 02:54.

On Line 3, the 12 special services from Luceros to El Campello will start at 23:19 and end at 03:39, while the journeys from El Campello to the capital will begin at 22:10 and finish at 23:10.

On Line 4, the eight scheduled units will start their service from Luceros to Plaza La Coruña at 22:59 and cease operations at 02:29, while in the opposite direction, another eight will run from 23:30 to 03:00.

Regarding Line 1, the trains extending their route to Luceros will depart from Hospital Vila at 22:45, 23:05, and 23:35.

In this way, the company aims for Alicante's residents and tourists to use its services and avoid traffic jams and parking issues due to the influx of people during these days and the various traffic disruptions occurring on the main streets and avenues of Alicante's capital.
