Alcoy-based technology company TAIA has achieved a milestone by becoming the first organisation to reach a commercial agreement with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). They have developed and assembled small series of highly technological electronic circuits, including flexible circuits with embedded components.
"This collaboration is a recognition of our team's work and TAIA's ability to offer innovative, efficient, and reliable solutions in environments where the margin for error is virtually zero," stated the company's CEO, Hernán Cortés.

The entire manufacturing and assembly process of the circuits is carried out entirely at TAIA's facilities in Alcoy. This 100% Alicante production reinforces "the company's commitment to the Spanish technology industry and a national brand based on excellence and innovation."
Record in Incident Rates
In 2024, the company set a new internal record with an incident rate of 0.01%, an indicator of excellence that has been key to the trust placed by CERN. This reliability has been strengthened by the incorporation of a new dual-wave soldering machine with three-zone preheating, quick-change baths, and compatibility with both lead-free and leaded soldering. This acquisition allows for higher quality and precision in soldering, faster production processes, versatility to adapt to different models, and total integration in a single unit.
TAIA's products are part of fundamental infrastructures and equipment in the most advanced particle physics experiments. Since the project's inception, the technical teams of both entities have worked in coordination to ensure that the delivered systems not only meet but exceed the most demanding international standards of quality, precision, and reliability.
