Central Market Returns to Special Category with its Children's Bonfire

Alicante's streets are still adorned with bonfires, yet plans for the next event are already underway. The Central Market bonfire will return to the Special Category in 2026 with its children's bonfire.

The district has renewed its collaboration with artist Mario Pérez to make this leap. The Valencian artist, who has been working in Diputació-Renfe in recent years, will now move from the Estación Avenue to the end of Alfonso el Sabio, in front of Alicante's central market.
