CD Paidos Dénia players, Cayetano Iglesias and Hugo Pons, have been called up by the Valencian Football Federation to participate in the Spanish Under-16 Futsal Championship phase. Both youngsters have consistently earned the trust of the Valencian coach, Pablo Tamarit, who did not hesitate to summon the goalkeeper to each training session since last September. Moreover, Tamarit has appointed Cayetano Iglesias as one of the captains of the orange team.

Given the brevity of the competition, with only three matches to be played, any slip-up could prove costly. Therefore, the youngsters must maintain high intensity in all matches, especially considering the strength of the teams they will face.
The Valencian expedition, having travelled to Murcia, is already aware of the match order. The debut will be this Friday at the Librilla Municipal Pavilion, at 10:30 am, against the Illes Balears team.
The second match for the Valencians will take place on Saturday at the La Aceña Pavilion in Mazarrón, where they will face the Murcia team at the same time.
Finally, the third match will be played on Sunday at the Librilla Municipal Pavilion against the Extremadura team, also at 10:30 am.
The coach's goal is to reach the Final Phase of the Spanish Championship. For this reason, the players are focused on winning each of the three matches they will play.
