In the early hours, a fire broke out at the dry dock of Dénia port, engulfing a catamaran in flames. Throughout the night, approximately 11 fire brigade units worked tirelessly to extinguish the blaze that affected the vessel at the Pansa dock.

The incident occurred around 1:30 am when emergency services received a report of a fire at Dénia port, according to sources. Firefighters from Dénia, Benissa, and Benidorm were dispatched to the scene.

The catamaran's captain informed the fire brigade that no one was on board, as he had secured the vessel, which was out of the water, at 5:10 pm.

Initially, the fire brigade stated that the fire was "difficult to extinguish," and the dry dock's security guard had to be taken to the hospital due to tachycardia. However, he is reported to be in good condition and has since returned to the dry dock, according to sources close to the incident.
