The Castelar Theatre Hosts the 5th Gala for Education in Elda

The Castelar Theatre will host the 5th Gala for Education in Elda on Thursday, starting at 7:00 PM. The Local Association of Ampas in Elda will present awards to individuals and educational projects carried out in the city's public schools. This year, the Gala moves to the Castelar Theatre to open this significant event to the city, showcasing the great work and variety of projects undertaken in the city's educational centres.

The Councillor for Education, María Gisbert, and the Vice President of the Local Association of Ampas, Raquel Cerdá, have revealed the details of this fifth edition, which received a total of 77 proposals from projects and individuals to be recognised by the AMPAS that make up the association.

Raquel Cerdá explained that "another major novelty of this edition is the change in the jury members, as previously it was the board of directors of the association who decided which projects or individuals deserved these recognitions."

This time, an independent jury has been chosen, comprising individuals related to and knowledgeable about the educational world in Elda. The jury includes Fefa Madrona, Josep David Martínez, Vicente Aravid, Miguel Soler, and Cristina Serna.

María Gisbert highlighted that "this Gala is very important for the entire educational community because it values the achievements of each year and the progress of each of the centres and individuals collaborating with Elda's education. From the Elda City Council, we will continue to support these initiatives, the educational community, the centres, and the Ampas."

In this regard, the councillor recalled that "this very week we have once again approved the collaboration agreement with the Local Association of Ampas from the local government. It is support that allows us to value public education in our city and promote activities such as the Family School or events like this gala."

Entry to the Gala is free with an invitation, and those wishing to attend can collect their ticket one hour before the event starts. This activity is included in the collaboration agreement maintained by the Elda City Council with the Local Association of AMPAS in Elda.
