The MadRing circuit, whose first stone has already been laid and development commenced, will span 5.4 kilometres and will be developed in the Valdebebas area, around IFEMA and next to Real Madrid's Sports City.

It will feature 22 turns and is shaping up to be a technical and fast track, with particularly complex sections. One of these will be La Monumental, a future iconic turn and the longest in the entire Formula 1 World Championship, which Sainz has already explored in its off-road version.

Ford Spain, Red Bull, and Carlos Sainz have joined forces to recreate for the first time the complete layout of the future MadRing circuit, which will host the Madrid Formula 1 Grand Prix from 2026.

They have done so with a spectacular and action-packed production, in which Sainz exclusively drove the track behind the wheel of the Ford Raptor T1+, the same vehicle he competed with in the past Dakar.

"It is a pride, it is a dream. I was lucky enough to witness, as a child, the last Formula 1 race held in Madrid and I will have the fortune to enjoy this new edition on a different track. It is a success that Madrid has this race again and that Spain adds this new event. I am very happy," the driver declared.

For Carlos Sainz, "the Ford Raptor is the only vehicle that could lap the Madrid Formula 1 circuit through the entire area yet to be constructed. With this Ford Performance and M-Sport vehicle, we have been able to traverse it. What I wish for is that MadRing becomes a beautiful circuit, and that drivers enjoy themselves when they come to the Madrid Grand Prix."

The route was carried out on terrain not yet paved, only passable with a vehicle like the Raptor T1+. The young driver Pepe Martí also participated in the test as a co-driver, one of the great promises of Spanish motorsport when MadRing joins the calendar in 2026.
