Carla Claver Gálvez: "My mother signed me up for the bonfire before I was born"

Carla Claver Gálvez has been part of her bonfire, Sant Nicolau de Bari i Benissaudet, long before she was born. Her mother, while still pregnant, decided to register this young woman from Alicante in the festive census and "instill in me all the values involved in this Festival".

Living completely tied to the Alicante Bonfires, this Alicante native has decided to "dedicate a lot of time to them, they truly are something that I am passionate about and enjoy greatly." Therefore, "I try to participate in everything I can."

Evidence of this is seen during the nit de la plantà, where "all the members of my bonfire are very united" as the work and dedication of a whole year take shape. "The excitement reflected in every look of the people around me is incredible."

A very special plantà was in 2024, when Carla Claver Gálvez was the bellea of Sant Nicolau de Bari i Benissaudet. She now holds the positions of godmother and candidate for bellea del foc, which she adds to her roles as child honour lady, child bellea, adult honour lady, and Federation delegate for her commission.

Another highlight of the main days of the Bonfires is the multicolour parade. "With so much confetti thrown, my child bellea lost her mantilla and orange blossom," ending the parade without these elements. "The parade seemed very fun to me and we enjoyed that moment a lot."
