La playa de Muchavista de El Campello will kick off the Winter Beach Volleyball Circuit of the Valencian Community 24-25 this weekend (22, 23, and 24 November). The significant novelty of this first event is its charitable aspect, as all registrations will be directed to aid those affected by the recent DANA in the province of Valencia. Friday will be dedicated to local schools, Saturday to an open amateur competition for all athletes, and Sunday to the pro event, which offers cash prizes and counts towards the national ranking.

At Monday's presentation event, the Mayor of El Campello, Juanjo Berenguer, and the Sports Councillor, Marcos Martínez, were present, along with the FVBCV President, Arturo Ruiz, and Technical Director, Nuria Pla.

How will support be provided to those affected by the DANA? All assistance will be channelled through the Red Cross as follows:

• All registrations (both for the amateur events on the 23rd and the pro event on the 24th) will be directed to those affected by the DANA through the Red Cross. Player registrations are made through beachliga.com as usual and are open.

• The FVBCV has set up a 'Fila Cero' on our website for those who wish to help and are not athletes.

The Winter Circuit 24-25 kicks off in El Campello and will then move to La Malvarrosa (14 and 15 December), Sant Joan d'Alacant (25 and 26 January), Gandia (8 and 9 February), Benicàssim (8 and 9 March), and Playa San Juan (29 and 30 March).

The El Campello event will feature prominent players such as Alicante's Pablo Pérez, who competed last week in the China Challenger, and Seville's Nazaret Florián, one of Spain's top players and a regular at international events.

Access to the pro competition on Sunday is free for all fans, and QR codes will be visible for those who wish to help the DANA victims through the 'Fila Cero'.
