Calp Requests the Creation of a Music and Dance Conservatory from the Regional Ministry

Music and dance aspire to reach Calp, and this has been requested by the Governing Board to the Regional Ministry of Education, Culture, Universities, and Employment. The City Council seeks the opening of a professional conservatory of music and dance by the Generalitat.

To this end, the local Government offers the facilities of Casa Nova to the Regional Ministry, meeting the required standards for multipurpose classrooms and the ability to adapt to the needs of such centers.

If the Regional Ministry authorizes the creation of both conservatories and provides teaching staff, it would be the first time Calp has an official conservatory of music and dance.

The City Council has also made a request to the Regional Ministry of Environment, Water, Infrastructure, and Territory: to convene the Governing Board of the Penyal de Ifach Natural Park, which has not met for over a year, to communicate the municipality's needs.
